Hello again. This week I finished horse camp at Faithful Farms in Rocky Mount. We had a very good horse show. We got small trophies and awards. There was an award for fishing and best sport. During the week, I groomed the horse, we had a grooming contest and I won. My horse's name was Vegas. She is black and part of her forehead is white. Vegas is very sweet. During the week, I learned parts of the horse - the nuzzle, the forehead, the forelocks, the mane, the crest, the wither, the barrel, the crop, the frog, the chestnut, the hoof and some other ones too that I don't remember. We also had to scoop the horses' poop, but that was actually pretty fun. We had lots of fun riding our horses in the big ring, and I trotted in the big ring. I made lots of new friends at camp and they were very nice. They had a drink machine there, and the funny thing was, today, I got a drink and it was Sunkist and I dropped it. And it started spraying out of one of the sides, and I had to hold it to my mouth while it was spraying. At horse camp, we had a pool at Ms. Jan's house. We went fishing and went on the little paddleboat too. I paddled on the boat, that is just like a bicycle. It really gives your legs some exercise. Another girl in camp caught 16 fish! I caught two. We had to have our life jackets on in the little boat. Here are the kids that are in my camp: Brooke, Thane, Hannah, Charlotte, Katie, and that's all. My favorite part was when we walked around the ring every day. My counselor's name was Cassidy - she is 14. I hope you liked this story. Stay tuned!
